This International Women’s Day, Warp took one step closer in creating opportunities for women to become financially independent.
Mostly, women in Pakistan belonging to rural areas don’t work outside their homes. However, they are talented with various skills that they have learnt overtime as a hobby or just to kill time. Hand embroidery being one of them. We are introducing a new line of products in collaboration with these women with an objective to bring them into the formal workforce and mobilise local resources to contribute towards their livelihood with the comfort to work from their own homes.
